‘Stop the weddings!’
Being a woman can be very expensive. After having discussed bushes, body image and relationships, this final episode of How To Be a Woman focusses on weddings and babies.
Are you at that point in your life where you are invited to a wedding every weekend during the summer months? So much money is spent going to other people’s weddings and maybe even organising your own. I’m very up for Caitlin’s suggestion of having some weddings a few decades into the relationship, when you’ve all had the time to save up a bit. With weddings come hilarious mishaps, so of course Caitlin doesn’t hold back on those stories either, and in this dramatisation you feel like you’re right at the table with the wedding guests. From wine spilling to a bat screeching (you’ll have to listen to the episode to find out the details of that particular story), every sound effect adds to the hilarious atmosphere.
From weddings she jumps to babies. Again a topic filled with loaded questions. It’s all about making big life decisions and not feeling guilty (or letting other people make you feel guilty) about it.
Since it’s the beginning of a new year, a little reminder that it is OK to have limits and that setting boundaries and rules is very welcome.
